Our beautiful seaside village of Port Campbell is undergoing a transformation to make it even more enticing for locals and visitors alike. We know construction works can sometimes cause a nuisance, but Port Campbell is still open for business and full of beauty and opportunities.
To encourage you to support local, we’re running a competition!
For the month of September, each day a lucky customer at one of the thirteen participating local businesses in Port Campbell will win a golden ticket!
A Golden Ticket winner receives $50 off their purchase or, if spending less, gets the remainder of $50 to spend. All you have to do is shop, eat or play in Port Campbell.
So come down to Port Campbell for your chance to win! One golden ticket winner will be chosen at a randomly selected time and business each day.
Participating businesses
Terms and Conditions
- One golden ticket winner per day for the month of September
- Winners will be randomly selected at each of the 12 hospitality and retail shops in Port Campbell (rotating winners at each of the businesses with each businesses to have 2 to 3 Golden Ticket winners across the month)
- One winner per day at a different shop and time each day.
- Winner to be advised by council staff / retailer at time of making purchase / paying bill.
- Winners to be provided with a credit of $50. If the winners purchase is greater than $50 then $50 will be taken off their bill, if the winners purchase is less than $50 their cost of purchase will be free and a credit provided to spend in the same shop/venue on that day.
- Winners to be provided with a ‘golden ticket’ and council staff / business representative to take a photo of the winner with their golden ticket.
- Winners will be asked to complete a consent form that allows their image to be used for competition announcements
- Golden tickets cannot be used to fully fund $50 worth of alcohol either take-away or bar drinks.
Purchases may partially include alcohol but if alcohol is part of the purchase there must be also be some food purchased.
- Business owners, employees and their immediate family members of the Golden Ticket businesses and Corangamite Shire are ineligible to enter.

- Entries must include what you love about Port Campbell in 25 words or less.
- Entries from all ages are welcome, however the accommodation prize must be redeemed by an adult (18+).
- Limited to one entry per person.
- Submitters agree their response to Why I love Port Campbell can be used by Council for promotional purposes. Responses will be de-identified prior to use.
- A monthly winner will be drawn (three winners one each month of September, October and November to be drawn at end of month with promotion over the month).
- Winners will be notified and provided with a list of accommodation providers to choose from. Winners can choose one accommodation provider from the list for accommodation up to the value of $500.
- Winners can select one or more nights accommodation up to the value of $500 if the cost is less than $500 the remaining funds are null & void.
- Winners may select accommodation that costs more than $500. Any costs above $500 are the responsibility of the winner and must be paid at the time of booking.
- Winners to contact the accommodation provider and book their holiday within a month of being notified of being the winner – the accommodation can be booked for any date, subject to availability, in the twelve months after being notified of being the winner.
- Employees and their immediate family members of the accommodation providers list and Corangamite Shire are ineligible to enter.
