Final works for 2024

Two-way traffic flows will resume on Cairns St (foreshore) and Lord Street (main) from Saturday 21 December.

Temporary fencing will be removed, except where protection of infrastructure items is required.

Rain gardens will be backfilled with soil or marked with flagging for safety purposes.

Please take care to observe signage related to parking and pedestrian pathways during the festive season.

What to expect when works resume from 6 January 2025

Norfolk Pine Tree deck system building will resume. Car parking (2-3 spaces) in this area will be closed for preparing materials and the safety of workers during construction.

Paving stonework will resume outside The Alcove building and Real Pizza Pasta & Salads.

Changes to traffic flows may be required to assist with works progress. Advance notice will be provided to the community and signage in place.
