Final asphalting of Lord Street will commence from 9am, Wednesday 26 March, and be completed on Thursday 27 March.
Two layers of asphalt will be laid from the Baptist Church down Lord St (main) including the Cairns Street hill and intersection
During this time there will be periodic road closures. Please observe traffic controllers and signage
Parking in the Morris St carpark, Morris St and Tregea St are recommended for access to the shopping precinct. Pedestrian access via footpaths will be maintained at all times
Vehicular access to Port Campbell Fuel will be disrupted on Wednesday only, with periods where access is not available. At other times access will alternate via Morris St or Cairns St as works permit.

Works have begun on the reconfiguration of the Morris Street/Great Ocean Road roundabout.

Works are on track for completion this Friday 28 March.

Changes include:

Redirection of Great Ocean Road traffic (from 12 Apostles) down VicRoads controlled Morris St
Redirection of tourist traffic away from residential Cairns St
Traffic will be able to exit Cairns St into Morris St or continue through to the Great Ocean Road
Traffic calming installations at Pitcher St/Morris St intersection will encourage drivers to continue to Lord St and Tregea St for access to the foreshore and shopping precinct
Signage will accompany the traffic changes to advise drivers
