Works update

Foreshore

Foreshore works are moving along with the amphitheatre retaining walls being built. The first of three walled garden beds will be built during November in time for the summer break (see photos below).

Norfolk Island Pines (Lord Street)

We have found that more testing is needed on the Norfolk Island Pines root system to ensure the trees will not impacted by the extended decking works underneath. This means the decking design may need to be further modified and physical works in this section could be delayed until after summer.

Tregea Street

Works to improve amenity and drainage in Tregea Street are scheduled for this month. There will be some traffic disruptions at the Morris Street corner (near Sow and Piglets).
